Hier soir s’est déroulée la cinquième cérémonie des Critics’ Choice Television Awards. Si on parle en termes de chaînes, HBO s’en sort gagnante avec 7 prix à son actif dont 3 pour sa mini-série Olive Kitteridge et deux pour Silicon Valley donc celui de la meilleure comédie.
Derrière, on trouve FX qui repart avec 4 trophées dont le meilleur drama pour The Americans. AMC, Fox, Amazon et Comedy Central repartent chacune avec deux prix.
Dans les gagnants notables, Tarji P. Henson a gagné pour son rôle principal féminin dans Empire, Amy Shummer est sacrée meilleure actrice dans une comédie, Jeffrey Tambor rafle le prix du meilleur acteur dans une comédie pour Transparent et Bob Odenkirk ainsi Jonathan Banks l’ont emporté pour Better Call Saul.
Du côté des séries d’animation, c’est Archer qui remporte le prix.
Diffusée sur A&E, la cérémonie était présentée par Cat Deeley qui a elle-même remporté un prix pour la présentation de l’émission de danse So You Think You Can Dance.
