Le compositeur américain Marco Beltrami a été choisi pour composer la bande originale du film de Marc Foster World War Z, en plus du prochain Die Hard et Paradise Lost.
Marco Beltrami est un compositeur occupé. Alors qu’il doit déjà s’occuper les bandes originales du prochain Die Hard (John Moore) et de Paradise Lost (Alex Proyas), il vient de signer pour composer celle du film de science-fiction avec Brad Pitt World War Z réalisé par Marc Foster (Finding Neverland, Monster’s Ball, Quantum of Solace). Brad Pitt y incarne un agent des Nations Unies qui va à travers le monde pour interviewer les survivants d’une apocalypse zombie, dix ans plus tard.
Le film est l’adaptation du roman de Marc Brooks World War Z : An Oral History of the Zombie War. Outre Brad Pitt, on pourra y voir Mireille Enos (The Killing US), James Badge Dale (Shame), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) et David Morse (Dr House, Treme).
On doit notamment à Beltrami la bande originale des quatre Scream, Halloween : Vingt ans plus tard, Mesrine, Underworld, Resident Evil, The Omen, Terminator 3 et Dracula 2000.
